The MAAI has made a $250 donation to the NFAA Scholarship program. Over the past few years several MAAI students have benefited from the program and we all felt that it was time the MAAI helped support the program. There will also be a donation jar at the tournamanets if you wish to help as well.
There might be a new system for determining our overall champions! You will earn points by your finish at each event. 1st = 50pts, 2nd = 45pts, 3rd = 40pts, 4th = 35pts, 5th = 30pts, 6th = 28pts, 7th = 26pts, 8th = 24pts, 9th = 22pts, 10th+ will all get 20pts. If there is a tie in points at the end of the year, your total score will be used. You will still need to attend and complete every tournament to be eligible for an overall award just like before. This agenda item was provided at the annual meeting and tabled for a final vote at the indoor meeting. Club directors should discuss this with their clubs, and bring the opinions to the meeting.
The state target this year will be in Helena, and will be a "900 round" which will be very fun!
Due to a lack of interest, there will be no "Mail-In" tournament.

There are a couple important agenda items that passed at the annual meeting that I want to announce.
1. In 2006 we will be hosting two state indoors... One VEGAS in Feb. before the WAF, and one NFAA (two NFAA rounds) in March like usual.
2. The State Target can now be hosted with several different rounds starting in 2006. i.e. Olympic, Fita, Freeman Round, or our standard format.
3. There is now a Men's and Women's "Money" division available for all MAAI Shoots. There will be no equipment separation, just men and women. This class will only be for money and not state awards, including overall championships.
4. We are going to be using totally different awards for all MAAI shoots. They will be a small medallion in gold silver and bronze.
